If the San Francisco Giants were to pull this trade off, this former No. 1 overall pick could help their power problem at first base.

The San Francisco Giants have made a few interesting moves this offseason. They recently gave Willy Adames a seven-year, $182 million contract while also bringing in right-hander Justin Verlander for one year and $15 million.

As February begins, power hitting slugger Pete Alonso is still a free agent. Jon Heyman of the New York Post recently wrote that the Giants are one of the teams that make sense for Alonso, although the New York Mets are still undoubtedly the best fit.

Verlander isn’t the only future Hall of Famer currently in the organization.
