Potentially playing two games on Tuesday after a suspension moved Monday's game, the Bruins' College World Series run could be over on Tuesday night.

After LSU and UCLA's game in the College World Series was delayed due to weather, it was pushed back to Tuesday, June 17

LSU and UCLA face off Monday in College World Series action, with both teams coming off opening-round wins; the winner will advance directly to the semifinals.

• USC picked up a commitment from four-star linebacker Talanoa Ili, who played high school football in Southern California before moving to Hawaii recently. The Trojans beat out crosstown rival UCLA for Ili, who is the No. 79 overall prospect in the country. Ili is the eighth top-100 prospect in USC’s class, which ranks No. 1 in the country.

The Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Flanagan High School star ended his recruitment with the news delivered to the UCLA staff during his official visit in memorable fashion. “I announced it on the yacht at dinner (Saturday) night,” Carlos told Rivals. “They were super excited. (Head) Coach (DeShaun) Foster danced the whole night (laughing).

The winner’s bracket game is halted after an extended delay because of rain and lightning with LSU leading, 5-3, in the fourth inning. It will resume Tuesday at 8 a.m. PT.

Khalil Terry, a four-star safety for the class of 2027, announced Sunday his decommitment from Michigan State, opening his recruitment and chanced for UCLA.
