President Donald Trump claimed another win for his campaign to transform the global economy and American life, but he still can’t escapeintensifying questions over his handling of the Jeffrey Epstein controversy.

Trump, in Scotland for a few days of golfing and bilateral meetings, told reporters upon his arrival on Friday evening that von der Leyen was a highly respected leader and he was looking forward to meeting with her on his golf course in Turnberry.

The president struggles to shift the conversation away from Epstein as his supporters demand the release of files about the case.
