Talen Energy (NASDAQ:TLN) +2.8% in Thursday's trading after saying it may file a new motion with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to seek approval of its agreement to supply more electricity to an Amazon data center connected to its nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania.

Talen’s stock is rising after the electricity producer lifted the lower end of its Ebitda and free cash flow guidance.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission this month struck down the deal to increase the capacity of the data center at Talen's Susquehanna plant to 480 megawatts from 300 megawatts, noting that diverting power to a single customer could raise power bills in the region and cause grid reliability problems.
