When the United States joined Israel this weekend in attacking Iran’s nuclear sites, the outrage and condemnation flowed from Russia.

Israel says it struck multiple sites across Tehran, including the Fordo nuclear site hit by the U.S. days earlier and a prison known for jailing regime opponents.

President Vladimir Putin reaffirms Russia's full support for Iran and criticizes the recent attacks on Tehran as unjustified aggression.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday that "unjustified" U.S. attacks on Iran's nuclear sites were pushing the world towards great danger and he promised to try to help the Iranian people, although did not spell out how.

Aside from condemning the U.S. attacks, Russia has not taken any more concrete moves to support Iran as its foreign minister visits Moscow.
