Both fighters will look to rebound from knockout losses to UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira. Hill was knocked out in Round 1 by Pereira at UFC 300, whereas Prochazka was taken out in Round 2 of his fight against Pereira at UFC 303. UFC kicks off the new year with a pay-per-view that will be tough to beat. UFC 311 is topped by two terrific title fights: UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev vs. Arman Tsarukyan and bantamweight champ Merab Dvalishvili vs.

That’s where Jamahal Hill comes into play. Jamahal Hill and Glover Teixeira fought for the vacant title and Hill dominated to become the new champion. Hill then suffered a serious injury which forced him to vacate the title before him and Prochazka could fight. Prochazka ended up fighting Alex Pereira where he lost.
