A teenager was hospitalized after an officer-involved shooting took place Friday overnight in southwest Houston. Houston Police Department is investigating and the incident took place around 2 a.m. at an apartment complex on Cinnamon Lane near Beechnut Street,

Two officers from the police department's westside patrol division arrived to the scene and started to walk around the complex, immediately hearing gunshots. The officers observed several people running around the complex and shooting at each other.
