Alex Palou isn't going anywhere. The Indy 500 winner is planning to remain with INDYCAR and isn't interested in joining Formula 1.

The runaway IndyCar Series points leader wins the Indianapolis 500 by overtaking Marcus Ericsson. Palou, seeking his third series championship in four years, has won five of this year's six races. Palou celebrates on the front straightaway.

Ericsson finished second, followed by David Malukas, Pato O’Ward and Felix Rosenqvist as the race ended under a caution flag for a crash involving Nolan Siegel. Kyle Larson finished 27th in his bid to race the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on the same day.
