Led by Sun Belt Player of the Year Tayton Conerway, Troy finished in a four-way tie for the conference’s regular-season championship, then won the Sun Belt tournament as a 3-seed. That gave the Trojans the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, where the Sun Belt has made some noise the last two years.
