"I don't know that we've approached it from a deadline perspective," Tomlin detailed, per The Athletic's Mike DeFabo. "Certainly, as I mentioned, you'd like to have settled circumstances. But, you know, deadlines don't often bring that to a head."
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Pittsburgh is not operating on a deadline to sign Aaron Rodgers, explaining the team is still evaluating all options and used the recent meeting with the MVP quarterback to get to know him better as a person.
Throughout his media availability at the annual league meetings, Tomlin was peppered with repeated questions about the ongoing Rodgers saga.
