The story of Captain America: Brave New World takes place in 2026 and 2027, followed by the Thunderbolts in 2027.

Brand New Day, new set photos from the project have come to light that provide a rough estimate about when the film is set, with respect to the current MCU continuity. The 2026 film will see Tom Holland reprise his role of the iconic web-slinger

This in turn establishes roughly where Spider-Man: Brand New Day will take place in the lead up to Avengers: Doomsday, the events of which kick off 14 months after Thunderbolts*, according to that film's post-credits scene, which appears to show the arrival of the Fantastic Four in the MCU from their alternate timeline of Earth-828.
