The long-running Google Pixel 6a battery saga continues, and Google has now provided details of how owners of the 2022 handset can claim up to $150 (about £110 / AU$230) back from the company – money that could be put towards a new phone.

The company will offer affected Pixel 6a owners $100 (roughly Rs. 8,500) or equivalent amount in their local currency as cash. Alternatively, they can also opt for a Google Store discount code worth $150 (roughly Rs. 12,800) that will go towards their next purchase of a Pixel handset.

The good news? You're getting Android 16! The bad news: the update will reduce battery capacity once you hit 400 charges. But you could get some cash for your trouble.
