NFL playoff predictions as Seahawks return from their bye week
As the Seattle Seahawks return to action this Sunday night, they do so with a golden opportunity. Sitting at 5-2, the Seahawks have a chance to move to 6-2 against a deeply wounded and struggling Washington Commanders team.
Selling out to -3.5 to back the elite defense and rested/healthy offense. The injury status for the Commanders portents consistent pressure and poor rushing performance which means Seattle needs about 20 points here to cover the number.
The Patriots have made a habit of blowing out lesser opponents at home, defeating the Carolina Panthers by 29 points in Week 4, and then the Cleveland Browns by 19 last Sunday. The Falcons on the other hand are truly Jekyll and Hyde.
Kliff Kingsbury’s offense is not new to the Seahawks. He maintains his concepts of end rounds, RPO, and screens. But, even so, they are a team that mostly runs the ball. There are three games for 200 yards or more and only one game with less than 100 yards (60 against the Chiefs).
Trevor Lawrence’s downfield throws have been nonexistent this season. According to PFF, the Jacksonville quarterback ranks dead last with a 44.7 deep passing grade, while only three QBs have a worse 20+ yard completion rate than his 22%.
In this week's roundtable, we give our final preview to the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 7 clash with the Los Angeles Rams.

Rams vs. Jaguars prediction: Los Angeles and Jacksonville square off from Wembley Stadium in London
For the Jags, playing in London is old hat, and this game will mark the 11th time they've played at Wembley Stadium in the franchise's history. In those prior instances, Jacksonville has gone 5-5 at the facility, but the team is 7-6 all time in international games. Meanwhile, the Rams are 2-2 in their four international regular-season games.
