DELAWARE, Ohio — A former Ohio National Guardsman was sentenced Wednesday to at least 25 years in prison after he was found guilty of multiple charges in the sexual assault of a teen minor, reports say.

A former Ohio National Guard lieutenant colonel was sentenced to 25-30.5 years in prison after his conviction for raping a minor.

Dozens of members of the Ohio National Guard are being deployed. According to a release, roughly 60 members of Ohio Army National Guard’s 324th Military Police Company are headed to assist with Operation Spartan Shield.
