NEW YORK -- John Tavares had three points to reach 1,100 for his NHL career and the Toronto Maple Leafs won 4-3 against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Thursday. Tavares scored two goals and had an assist to become the eighth active player with 1,100 points (485 goals, 615 assists).
