Look for partly sunny skies with areas of fog each morning. Fog will be thickest around the coast with patchy fog farther inland up to Houston. Temperatures the next few days will once again soar to the 80s during the afternoon which is about 15° above normal for this time of February.

Thursday morning we see dense fog, especially near the coast, then partly cloudy and unseasonably warm. Highs in the low to mid 80s.

This week, the Houston area will experience unseasonably warm temperatures, with highs ranging from the upper 70s to low 80s. Morning fog is anticipated each day, gradually giving way to partly sunny or mostly sunny skies by the afternoon.

It's forecasted to be very warm on Tuesday with Houston's record high smashed on Monday. The previous record was 80° and we hit 83°. Likewise, Galveston's high of 76 degrees broke the previous record of 75 degrees.

Areas of dense fog will be likely Wednesday morning with the thickest fog around the coast. Remember to slow down, increase the distance between other vehicles around you and use your low beam headlights.
