An Atlanta Police Department incident report is shedding light on the death of Cornelius Taylor, the man killed by an Atlanta Public Works truck during a sweep of a homeless encampment on Jan. 16.

Atlanta has stopped clearing out homeless encampments after a city truck ran over and killed a man as he slept in his tent. Cornelius Taylor, 49, was in his tent on Old Wheat Street near Ebenezer Baptist Church on Jan.

It comes in the wake of Cornelius Taylor's death, who was killed on Jan. 16 as City of Atlanta crews attempted to clear a homeless encampment.
