A former WWE executive who had been fighting sexual abuse allegations in a lawsuit by an ex-employee has agreed to a confidential settlement and will now help the accuser as she continues suing the company and former leader Vince McMahon.

A new Fightful Select report titled No, Vince McMahon Isn't Buying Back WWE points out that re-buying the wrestling promotion he sold to Endeavor in April 2023 is likely a financial impossibility for McMahon. WWE's market value has increased since then, and the $9.3 billion Vince pocketed for his shares would not be enough to regain control.
