Braintree is back in the win column at the Little League World Series, beating Richmond, Texas, on Saturday to advance in the elimination bracket.

The Braintree Little League team stays alive in the tournament, beating Texas 7-3 in a crucial must-win game. After a tough loss to Irmo, South Carolina, Braintree’s 12-year-olds were determined to bounce back in their second game of the series.

Clarendon Hills bounced back from a lopsided loss in the first round of the Little League World Series​ to beat the Mid-Atlantic Region champion from Upper Uwchlan Township, Pennsylvania on Saturday 3-2.

The team ended its incredible ride as World Series champions with a 9-2 victory over Mexico on Saturday Aug. 16 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
