Texas baseball made out like bandits this June, securing a top-four class in the nation while adding multiple high-impact hitters and pitchers, headlined by Notre Dame catcher transfer Carson Tinney.

During the postseason NCAA transfer portal window, the Texas Longhorns turned over a significant portion of the roster under first-year head coach Jim Schlossnagle, ranging from players who saw little or no playing time in 2025 to several starters who struggled at the plate.

Sixteen Texas baseball players opted to enter the transfer portal.  Is that a lot and how will it impact the team next season?
