On the Saturday night of Father’s Day weekend, a Decatur man stabbed his father, but died in the struggle, police said. Decatur police officers responded to report of a stabbing in the 2400 block of Harpeth Place Southwest shortly before 7:30 p.m.

Festival organizers wound up closing the event early, with no reported incidents involving Hunting Valley officers, as many teens made their way into Mayfield Heights, causing some problems there. Hunting Valley officers cleared the scene about 9:15 p.m.
