The PGA Tour is in sunny San Diego this week for the Farmers Insurance Open, which to many fans marks the true start to the PGA Tour season. For starters, the tournament’s weekend rounds are on CBS with Jim Nantz and Co.

The field was blown away on Thursday at the Farmers Insurance Open. The wind was up across the beautiful bluffs of Torrey Pines and the field of 155 was fighting for their cutline lives. Ludvig Åberg finished Round 1 with a nine-under par 63 and held the tournament lead by two strokes.

It’s official: The PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational will move to Torrey Pines Golf Course. The tournament at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, hosted by golf icon Tiger Woods, was displaced because of the devastating fires in Pacific Palisades.
