Rumors are building that the Oklahoma City Thunder are expected to make some kind of trade during the upcoming 2025 NBA Draft.

The 2025 NBA draft lottery results have been revealed. Despite being in Round 2 of the NBA playoffs, the Oklahoma City Thunder had an interest in the results. They owned the Philadelphia 76ers ' top-six protected pick.

Denver was last in the league in 3-point attempts per game during the regular season (31.9), but that number has jumped to 38.5 3PA in the four contests against OKC. In their first-round series versus the LA Clippers, the Nuggets fired up an average of just 29.0 3PA across seven games.

The Oklahoma City picked up a series-tying Game 4 victory against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday afternoon, using a strong fourth quarter for a 92-87 win. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a team-best 25 points to lead OKC to a much-needed win, and the Thunder outscored the Nuggets 29-18 in the fourth quarter.
