Funeral services for slain Ohio corrections officer Andrew Lansing will be held on Jan. 3 in Chillicothe. Rashawn Cannon, 27, is accused of fatally attacking Lansing, 62, on Christmas morning at Ross Correctional Institution in Chillicothe. The state patrol is investigating the homicide.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The Ohio Civil Service Employee Association (OCSEA) is calling on Governor Mike DeWine to step in. The union wants leaders within the Ross County Corrections Institution to be put on leave as the investigation into the death of Officer Andrew Lansing continues.
