MSI’s China branch acknowledged that GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards would be in short supply for the official launch. This disclosure has raised concerns among prospective buyers who had anticipated wider product availability from day one.

MSI Rep: "We are going to allow RTX 5090 preorders on 1/30 at 6 AM PST, with a ship date of 2/6. The RTX 5080 will be available for purchase on 1/30 at 6 AM PST, with an immediate ship date of 1/30. RTX 5090 preorders will open on 1/30 at 6 AM PST, with a ship date of 2/6."

MSI stores will be able to deliver limited stock of the new graphic cards, and it will be delayed to February 6, 2025.
