President Jimmy Carter's casket was taken via motorcade from the airport to the U.S. Navy Memorial on Tuesday, ahead of his funeral on Thursday. His casket will be taken from the U.S. Navy Memorial to the U.

One woman was thankful to President Jimmy Carter after he helped build homes in Houston. Carter worked with Habitat for Humanity for years.

Carter, a Georgia Democrat who served as U.S. president from 1977-81, died Dec. 29 at age 100. He helped provide housing opportunities in Houston and across the country.
