The Milford high school student who spent six days in immigration detention before his release on bail Thursday said his immediate desire is to get back to “regular life,” and high school exams.

Marcelo Gomes, the Milford, Massachusetts teenager who was arrested by ICE was released from custody after he was granted bond. WBZ-TV's Beth Germano and Brandon Truitt report.

Outside of the courthouse, chants of “free Marcelo” turned to a cry of jubilation when word that “he’s getting out” hit the crowd.
