New York Gov. Kathy Hochul laid out an ambitious agenda for 2025 during her State of the State address at the Hart Theater in Albany on Tuesday.Hochul was followed by New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, who shared his State of the State address in Trenton.

A CHICKEN IN EVERY POT, A COP IN EVERY SUBWAY: Gov. Kathy Hochul spent her fourth State of the State championing the cause she continued to emphasize over the last two months. She also unveiled a serious proposal to combat subway crime — placing an NYPD officer on every train throughout the city’s sprawling underground transit system every night.

Gov. Kathy Hochul will take a look back at the past year in New York during her State of the State address Wednesday. Hochul is expected to start the state’s 57th annual address around 1 p.m. in Albany.
