Police in Israel are investigating reports of explosions involving three buses in Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv. Police described the incident as a "suspected terror attack", adding that "large police forces are at the scenes, searching for suspects".

The attempted attacks on Thursday, which injured no one but shut down buses and trains across the country, came amid Israel’s ongoing raids in the West Bank and as its cease-fire with Hamas in Gaza nears its end.

Blasts rocked three empty buses in a Tel Aviv suburb, and explosives were found at other sites, authorities said.
