Two campers found dead at Lake Superior's Isle Royale National Park have been identified, the National Park Service said Thursday. Officials said next of kin have been notified and that there is no known threat to the public.

HOUGHTON, MI - Two people who died at Isle Royale National Park last weekend have been identified. The National Park Service said Thursday afternoon that the deceased campers have been identified and their families have been notified. However, their names, ages and where they’re from were not released.

The FBI in Michigan confirmed that agents were on the Lake Superior island following the discovery of two dead campers Sunday.
