Freeze warning Wednesday, heavy rains Friday

Cold weather will continue to dominate our weather through Thursday, but our focus shifts to the potential for locally heavy rainfall toward the end of the week.

Temperatures stay below freezing for the next week. Some mornings fall below zero. Additional snow looks possible Friday.

"A band of lake effect snow will produce slippery travel conditions and rapidly changing conditions," according to a hazardous weather warning issued by the National Weather Service.
