Florida will continue to see subfreezing temperatures into early next week thanks to a second winter storm, dubbed Winter Storm Cora, which is dumping snow and ice across most of the central and eastern parts of the United States.

The second major winter storm of 2025 will target the south-central and southeastern United States into the weekend and will create dangerous conditions on the roads as well as a slew of flight delays and cancellations from Dallas to Atlanta and Charlotte,

The Weather Channel has named the storm Winter Storm Cora, and it’s expected to bring more days of subfreezing temperatures to northern Florida and parts of Central Florida. The frigid temperatures may be responsible for one death in the Florida Panhandle.
