According to State Police, troopers were alerted to an unattended death aboard an Air France flight from Paris to Boston.

Calling it “an unattended death” aboard the flight, Massachusetts State Police said someone called the Crime Scene Services Section about the death.

Authorities identified the passenger who died aboard a Boston-bound international flight on Tuesday. According to the Massachusetts State Police, 53-year-old Barbara Dipoli of Topeka, Kansas, was a passenger on an Air France flight from Paris to Boston when she suffered a medical episode during the flight.

A plane hit a coyote during takeoff at Chicago O'Hare Airport on Sunday and diverted back to the airport after declaring an emergency, officials said.

A recent flight returned to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois, after the plane's landing gear struck a coyote during takeoff. More than 160 passengers were on board.

None of the 167 passengers or six crew on the flight were hurt during the incident, which occurred at Chicago O'Hare.
