Even though conventional wisdom suggests the Las Vegas Raiders will draft Shedeur Sanders if the opportunity presents itself, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. has the Colorado star ending up slightly lower in the 2025 draft.

In his second effort of the season, though, ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. dials in on that defense and pass-rush, giving the Bengals Georgia’s Mykel Williams at No. 17: While it’s hard to imagine the Bengals fumble a talent like Hendrickson, nuke the relationship and trade him away, the team needs to round out its pass-rush regardless.

NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper thinks that the New York Jets will pick Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Kiper has Sanders going seventh overall to New York, per ESPN, in a pre-NFL Combine mock draft.

Cleveland Browns reporter Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland/The Land on Demand suggested that the club's alleged interest in Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is a "smokescreen" meant to result in Cleveland selecting Miami signal-caller Cam Ward with the second pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.
