Notre Dame offensive lineman Charles Jagusah made his first start of the season vs. Ohio State after being expected to miss all season with an injury.

Notre Dame second-year offensive lineman Charles Jagusah may make his first start of the season, and only the second of his career, in Monday night's national championship game against Ohio State.

After initially being ruled out for the season with a pec injury in August, Charles Jagusah is expected to start at left tackle for Notre Dame in the National Championship against Ohio State Monday night.

It was early August when Notre Dame’s projected starting left tackle suffered a torn right pectoral muscle and was ruled out for the rest of the year. But he didn’t look at it that way. The sophomore imagined a world in which he could return if Notre Dame reached the expanded College Football Playoff, and he attacked his rehab with that in mind.
