Crowds have protested billionaire Elon Musk’s purge of the U.S. government under President Donald Trump outside Tesla dealerships throughout the U.S. and in some cities in Europe.

The protests were held to hit the Tesla CEO in his wallet as retaliation for widespread cuts he has made to the federal government and its spending through DOGE.

Protesters from New York to Berlin called for a boycott against Tesla, denouncing the company's CEO, Elon Musk.

Protestors outside the dealership had a litany of issues with the company's CEO and his role in the administration of President Donald Trump.

Organizers say today’s protests will be peaceful, but they are bracing for hostile confrontations with Musk and Trump supporters. Protesters are targeting Tesla because they believe its CEO Elon Musk is using the wealth the company has brought him to fund political actions they view as a threat to democracy.
