Former Oklahoma State softball ace Lexi Kilfoyl was selected as No. 1 overall pick in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League inaugural draft on Wednesday night.

After Lexi Kilfoyl went first to the Bandits, fellow pitchers Carley Hoover (Blaze), Megan Faraimo (Talons) and two-way star Rachel Garcia (Volts) were next off the board in the inaugural Athletes Unlimited Softball League draft on Wednesday night.

Former Oklahoma State pitcher Lexi Kilfoyl was the first overall pick in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League draft.

Maya Brady, the niece of NFL legend Tom Brady who hit the second-most home runs in UCLA Bruins history, will join the Athletes Unlimited Softball League for its inaugural draft, she announced Tuesday on social media.

The new Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) had its inaugural player draft on Jan. 29. The league will feature four teams playing a 24-game season in a traditional format and will be in addition to the existing AU Pro Softball Championship Season,
