South Carolina forward Ashlyn Watkins will miss the remainder of the season after tearing the ACL in her left knee, the school announced. Watkins suffered the injury in the first half of the No. 2 Gamecocks’ 95-68 win over Mississippi State.

Watkins exited the Gamecocks’ 95-68 win over Mississippi State on Sunday in the second quarter after landing awkwardly on her knee. The junior was unable to leave the court under her own power and had to be helped to the locker room.
