Trump's call comes amid his feud with Springsteen as the president appeared to threaten the rock star for calling the the administration "corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous" during recent U.K. concerts.
In an early morning Truth Social post, the president claimed that the singer accepted funds from former Vice President Kamala Harris to perform during the former presidential candidate’s rallies in Georgia and Philadelphia in 2024.
Trump suggested Springsteen and Beyoncé should be investigated to see if appearances they made on behalf of Kamala Harris represented an illegal campaign donation.
"Candidates aren’t allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did," President Donald Trump asserted in a Truth Social post on Monday.
