Came here on 1st june for the night safari with 6 teenagers 2 golden aged aunties, 3 adults for family get together. There a 3 parking zone A, B and C, all within walking diatance to zoo and parking… Full review by Coastal66292147020

Afraid not Bradley. Tigers, black panthers, elephants, giraffes, lions, sun bear, crocs, otters, sloths, hippos, deer, flamingos and a rhino are what I can recall.

I think the fee is RM17 for the daytime and RM20 for the night safari. I went with children so just ensure they eat at certain spots and not open any food in sight of the monekys and you should be fine. If you are staying in Taiping for a night (the Lake Gardens are also quite worth a visit) then you can either take a bus or train. If you're coming for a day trip, a car would probably be the best option. I've driven many times and it takes about 100 minutes to reach Georgetown, Penang from Taiping zoo area. Penang traffic will add at least 30 minutes to an hour if you're coming from/going to Ferringhi. I would budget at least 5 hours for the roundtrip.

I previously bring the orphans from Taiping to visit there and if not mistaken, Zoo Taiping had waived the entrance fees for the Orphans and we who brought them in were only charge with minimum fees only. But you have to write to them in advance to request for the same.
