We enjoyed riding the Island Line Rail Trail from downtown Burlington to the bike ferry. It is possible to go further, but we felt we had seen plenty. Some of the woodsy section can be a little borin… Full review by Chanin G
In the pictures, I see a part of the bike path where the lake is on both sides of the trail. Can anyone tell me where this section is? Is it north of Burlington or south? Does the area have a name I could look for? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It is the causeway section north of burlington, linking colchester to South hero island.
Right at the start of the Burlington Greenway. Local Motion Cycle Hire was where we got excellent service and two good bikes. 1 Steele Street, Burlington VT 05401
