We will be on a cruise stop in October, 2023 from 8 am to 6 pm. I see bus 95 goes there or a taxi from the port or city center. If we feel we don’t have enough time to enter, it would still be beautiful to see from outside. My question is there a taxi stand outside so we can take one back to the ship? Thank you.
A:
I don’t think there is a taxi stand here. The Ciudad covers quite a large area. It is set back from a fairly main thoroughfare though so hailing a taxi shouldn’t be too difficult.

Hi, I am interested in taking architectural photos of the exterior of the City of Arts and Sciences - eg. the exterior of the Hemispheric from various perspective around it. Do I need to purchase a ticket for this? Can I take sunrise and sunset shots, or these areas will be locked and access is only available during the Opening Hours? Thanks. Rgds, May

The two times we have been here have always been on a tour bus but we did not go inside any of the buildings. We only walked around and took pictures. For that, no admission is required. The buildings themselves are part of a cityscape with roads, bridges, etc. so that is open to the public. There is a car park but I think that opens at 8 a.m. and that may be later than you want, if you are looking to take pictures of the sunrise. So, no, it is not locked up and access should be easy enough for you. But give some thought for how you plan to get there and check out the car park info at their website.
