I'd like to know how smooth is the boat ride? Both my kids are prone to motion sickness, so i'm concerned if it is open water vs a bay.
A:
Most of the trip is along the coast in the inlet. Brief loop to the lighthouse is in open water and a little choppy. Traveled with three who are VERY prone to motion sickness & they were fine.

A:
I would say no. They overbooked our cruise and the multiple rude adults kept the very few children away from any views.

Yes, the boat is small and the outdoor seating is on the top level. However the inside seating has wondetful views. There were a few elderly and handicapped individuals on our tour who sat inside (both upper and lower decks) that had great views.

I am thinking about this trip next July and have concerns about getting seasick. I really only get seasick in big swells. Was this a problem for anyone o the boat? Does the boat keep moving or do they cut the engine and drift or drop anchor?
A:
The boat does keep moving, sometimes slowing down to point out things of interest. The trip takes place mainly in the confines of a large bay so large swells would be rare if at all. You …

The boat does keep moving, sometimes slowing down to point out things of interest. The trip takes place mainly in the confines of a large bay so large swells would be rare if at all. You can stay inside in the lower saloon, go outside on the upper deck or sit in the wheelhouse which is what my wife mainly did. No one on the trip was affected by the movement of the boat. In fact everyone tucked into the snacks and hot chocolate provided. We went in May this year so I would expect the weather to be a bit warmer in July. Hope you take the trip it is well worth it. Hope this helps you.
